Zoom Creates Geocoins

If you haven’t heard of geocaching yet, you must be living under a rock. So crawl out of there, then look behind it because there might be a geocache hidden there. Then go to http://geocaching.com to find out what it is.

In our attempt to take over the world, we’ve decided it would be fun to hide a geocache. But to make it extra special, we designed up and had 100 geocoins cast. We just got them back from the coin makers.

Geocoins are trackable coins that one might find in a Geocache. Once found, the cacher aught to type the tracking number scribed on the coin in to the geocaching.com website to log the coin as found and to see the mission of the coin, then place the coin in another cache. Not all coins have a mission, but if they do, the cacher should make an attempt at aiding the coin in its mission. For example, it might be the coin’s mission to visit theme parks around the world. Therefor, the cacher aught to try to place it in another cache in or near a theme park for another person to find. Anyone can see details of the coin by visiting the coin’s page on geocaching.com, including when and where it was last logged, the number of miles it has traveled, and a map showing its path.

Our coins feature our logo on the front, and Hoss and Pepper on the back, along with the tracking number. Our geocache is still coming, but some of our coins are already in circulation. Get out there and find ‘em, and be sure to log it on geocaching.com.
